Hello! I’m Melanie, your Southwest Florida real estate expert, proud mother of an FAU student, and wife and manager of my husband’s award-winning charter “Captain Brian On The Water.” Brian and I moved to SWFL in 1994 when we graduated college and started work for the Recreation Department at South Seas Resort on Captiva.

Originally from Western Nebraska, Florida was a BIG change for me, as it is for most of you who migrate south from other parts of the U.S. With a Bachelor's in Business Administration & Travel/Tourism from the University of Nebraska, most of my career has involved non-profit work where I really enjoyed helping people and serving the Southwest Florida community.  

You might ask yourself, how did she become involved in real estate? Well, I’ve always had an interest in the industry, and helping people with their goals comes naturally to me. My husband’s successful guide business has also provided me the opportunity to help clients of his relocate to our area. Sharing my love for Southwest Florida living and helping others live out their dreams brings me joy.  

Besides boating, shelling, and exploring the great outdoor environment, we also love attending church on Sunday, getting involved in the Visitor and Convention Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, and island community events. I enjoy volunteering and serving on the Steering Committee for Friends of Cayo Costa State Park. There are so many ways to get involved in our communities here in SWFL, and I can’t wait to welcome you to the neighborhood!
