Luxury homes are the epitome of class, style, and opulence. Offering the best of the best in architecture and design, these homes incorporate premium building materials, breathtaking views, deluxe finishes, and so much more. But, what exactly does it take to make a luxury home luxury?  Let’s take a closer look.

The Price Tag

Luxury homes are the most expensive houses on the market because they offer the best of the best—but there’s no magic number that automatically indicates that a home is a luxury property. Since home values vary widely from market to market, the range for luxury homes varies similarly.

Grand Amenities

Luxury homes offer a wide range of amenities that are not typically found in other types of homes. Below we've included a few insta-glamorous examples because who doesn't love scrolling luxury home features online?

Gourmet Kitchen:

This gourmet, chef's kitchen features custom cabinetry and high-end appliances.

Spa Bathroom:

This unique bathroom features a soaking tub, premium materials, natural sunlight, and ethereal designs.

Outdoor Amenities:

How about your own private tennis court, pickleball court, lap swimming pool, or hot tub waterfall?

Indoor Amenities:

Don't forget about indoor amenities such as a home theater, home library, or dedicated poker/game room.

Design

Luxury homes are where art meets convenience, and they’re designed to be both beautiful and extremely functional.

Building Materials:

Luxury homes often feature high-dollar materials such as hardwood, marble, quartz, and travertine.

Unique Architecture:

Luxury homes are custom designed with an architecture that extends far beyond production homes.

The Little Details:

Luxury homes have incredible attention to detail from the crown molding to the floorboards.

Natural Lighting:

Expansive windows allow natural lighting to pour into each room, and you can guarantee there's a nice view as well!

Flowing Floorplan:

You'll find a functional floor plan that flows nicely with the owner's lifestyle.

Location, Location, Location:

Last but certainly not least, location is everything to a luxury home. Here in Southwest Florida, it's all about the view, the tranquility, or the proximity to the beach or amenities like boating and golfing.
