We're back with another video in our series, moments with mom!

I thought you might enjoy hearing about the differences in the real estate industry from the time my mom and dad owned and operated several real estate offices in Connecticut, to today's unique real estate market in Southwest Florida.

Back In The Day...

I remember my mom would drive to the local Realtor Association office every day to find out what new real estate listings hit the market. They would get pieces of paper with the property information that they could then share with their friends, family, and acquaintances.

Of course, nowadays, we are notified of new listings that enter our MLS in multiple ways including email, text, and phone calls. Even our clients can be set up to receive notifications as soon as a property is listed in the MLS!

That's just one example of a difference in how the real estate industry has evolved over the years. Mom and I have a good laugh comparing the past and present in our video linked below.

We talk more about:

- Real Estate Commissions

- Communication Differences

- In-Person and Virtual Showings

- Educated Consumers

- And more!
